Winter Park

Winter Park is widely considered the cultural gem of Orlando, Florida. It is a suburb of Orlando characterized by affluence, arts and gorgeous natural beauty.  Winter Park is home to Rollins College, Full Sail University and the Charles Hosmer Morse Museum of American Art.

Winter Park has a history of Presidential visits starting with Chester Arthur who said that Winter Park was “the prettiest place I have seen in Florida.” Other Presidents who have visited the area include Grover Cleveland, Franklin D. Roosevelt and Barack Obama.

The area is also home to the Winter Park Chain of Lakes. This chain of lakes is probably second only to the Butler Chain of Lakes in terms of natural beauty, but lakefront real estate on this chain likely exceeds that of Windermere simply because of the other attractive aspects of living in Winter Park.
